Our Adopt-a-Highway date is 10am-noon this Saturday (22 October) everyone!! Call or text or email Lion Walter to say you can or cannot make it: walter@devonportlions.info or mob. 0417 06740. This will also be a test to see how our communication skills are for last minute reminders, and see who actually gets the message in time.
We need you this Saturday at 10am at the Tourist information pull-off near the East Devonport turn-off for a couple of hours. Rod from Volunteers Australia will be there with the AdoptaHighway van and will equip us with the necessary safety equipment. Just bring a bottle of water, good shoes and a hat! The more of us there are the easier and quicker the job!
